Walt Wilson

Walt Wilson is founder and chairman of Global Media Outreach; a Silicon Valley based Internet evangelism and discipleship ministry currently reaching over 120 million people a year with the gospel in all 191 countries. During his business career he served in various executive positions, starting with Fairchild Semiconductor. Following that he was the first general manager of operations for Apple Computer, and a member of the original Macintosh rollout team. He finished his career as a Senior Vice President and officer of the consulting division of Computer Sciences Corporation, a $16 billion corporation with over 100,000 employees. He was responsible for market development in technology consulting for Global 100 corporations in Asia with offices in Tokyo, Seoul and Singapore. While at Computer Sciences, he collaborated with the MIT Media Lab on the development of Internet technologies, during the mid-1990’s. He is author of the Internet Church, describing the use of technology in missions, published by Thomas Nelson/Word.

Prior to his business career Walt served on active duty with the United States Marine Corps attached to Fleet Marine Forces, 2nd Marine Division. He maintains an active ministry to the Marine Corps Training Command at Parris Island, SC and Camp Pendleton, CA.

He has served on various boards in Silicon Valley and as a Trustee at William Jessup University in Rocklin, CA.
