Jonathan C. Crane, a 24-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, until recently has served as President and Chief Operating Officer for Geotek Communications, Inc.’s wireless operations, including Geotek USA, Geotek International Network and Geotek Technologies.

Prior to joining Geotek in October 1995, Jonathan was President and Chief Executive Officer of Geotek, USA. Before that, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of LightStream Corporation, a start-up ATM switch company. Under his management, LightStream formed strategic partnerships with companies such as NEC and Tellabs, and began commercial availiablity. In January 1995, LightStream was purchased for $120 million by Cisco Systems. Prior to that, he spent nine years at MCI Telecommunications where he rose from Regional Vice President to Executive Vice President – Multinational Accounts. In this last assignment he was responsible for 3,000 employees and $2.4 billion in revenues. He was a key executive in the strategic partnership with British Telecom and their initial $4.3 billion investment in MCI.

Prior to MCI, Jonathan held numerous sales and marketing positions in Bell Systems Companies and at ROLM Corporation. He has more than twenty years of telecommunications experience.
