Wesley E. Cantrell is president and chief executive officer of Lanier Worldwide, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Harris Corporation.
Mr. Cantrell was president of Lanier Business Products, Inc. when the company was acquired by Harris Corporation in 1983. In 1987, he was named president and chief executive officer of Harris/3M Company. Mr. Cantrell was named to his current position and elected an officer of Harris Corporation in 1989.
Mr. Cantrell spent more than 30 years with Lanier Business Products, where he held sales, service, and management positions of increasing responsibility, including executive vice president and national sales manager.
Mr. Cantrell is a high honors graduate of Southern College of Technology of Marietta, Georgia. He is a member of the board of directors of the First Union Bank of Georgia.
Harris Corporation, with worldwide sales of more than $3 billion, is focused on four major businesses: electronic systems, communications, semiconductors, and Lanier Worldwide office systems.
Mr. Cantrell will discuss business ethics relating to current technology issues. He will speak from personal experience regarding how he has made choices based on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. |
