High Tech Ministries (HTM) began the Ambassadors Leadership program to build future leaders for Christ in the technology community. We find our imperative in II Corinthians 5:17-20. The Apostle Paul, an ambassador handpicked by Jesus, wrote this passage of scripture.

HTM is investing in the next generation of leaders through the yearlong Ambassadors Leadership program of coaching and mentoring. At monthly meetings, the coaches share from their knowledge and experience as ambassadors for Christ who are also leaders in the technology community.

Leadership focus areas for the Ambassadors include character, time management, work/life balance, stewardship, prayer and discerning God’s will. Guest lecturers have included Andy Stanley, lead pastor of North Point Community Church and Howard Dayton, founder of Crown Ministries. In addition to speakers, there is extensive reading, discussion, scripture memorization and accountability. The goal is to ensure that future leaders of the Atlanta Technology Community will be men and women who are confident about their role as ambassadors for Christ and are willing to live passionately to that end.

II Corinthians 5:17–20
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: be reconciled to God.”

Application packages will be emailed in June '10, and the program will run from August '10 through June '11.
